I purchased this tv near 2 weeks ago to interchange a 42 inch Panasonic plasma. There are a destiny of keen things most this tv, simply the one thing that matters near – the flick – was UN65D8000 a large disappointment. The intention and features of this tv are great. Internet worked actually well, menus are nicely set out and I loved the big screen. If you see the tv directly on, the pic is excellent, simply if you ride the slightest act perish substance it washes away quickly. Negro levels become terrible, screen uniformity issues gone glaring (flashlighting and upright banding) and colors (particularly flesh tones) are poor. Watching an episode of American Horror Story was a nightmare. I exchanged this tv for the PN64D8000 plasma and am much happier. The plasma movie is not quite equally bright, just the dead pith seeing and colors are far superior. For me, improve negroid stratums and colour are more important than spectacularly bright whites. The plasma has a far superior picture.
