I’ve been holding off writing a brushup of this television, waiting and hoping that Panasonic would address the fluctuating brightness issue…they get and the results are superb: fluctuating brightness is a thing of the past. I bought the set back in May knowing it could have the issue…mine turned away to exist a mild case, one that rarely reared its head, only yet a nit to choice on my brand new set.
I read completely near the troubles on high def junkies, a forum devoted to dwelling theatre enthusiast. I watched the level develop over the months equally Panasonic learned it received a problem to kind out and created a solvent that worked. (The thread is good reading, and thank deity a Panasonic engineer is an active member, otherwise this may not receive been fixed equally rapidly or even at all.)
In my case, (There are two different solutions.) a tertiary party tech. swapped the A-board on my set. Brought most ten seconds whole told. I was devised for a before and subsequently comparison…I had a panorama from a Battlestar Galactica episode cued up because it illustrated the fluctuations. With the young A-board, the fluctuations vanished. I received the cook done early lastly week and receive scoured movies known to cause FB’s and have found perfectly none. Good line Panasonic. (I understand the make is forthwith incorporated at the mill on newer make dates…mine had an April make date. If you have7 an older model, only vociferation the Concierge service and they’ll take care of you.)
As for the set, Panasonic VIERA TC-P50GT30 I’m completely pleased. It has a killer pic quality, mystifying blue blacks, excellent fine detail, lag liberal gaming, nice movement handling, properly online apps with an included wireless dongle and a superior construct quality to crown it off…absolutely first rate.
